Foil Tape is used for sealing joints in ductwork. Foil tape is recommended for a few reasons:
- It allows for expansion and contraction with changes in temperature
- It has a low moisture vapor transmission rate which makes it a good sealant
- Temperature use can range from -30 degrees F to 250 degrees F
- 2 1/2″ x 150′
