Jim Fitzgerald has completed a Walnut Tripod and Camera with an antique appearance.  He is using Walnut purchased from us here at Kencraft.   He uses hand tools in the work he does.   The film size is 8 x 20 and the camera weighs about 14 pounds.  The Camera and Tripod have been finished with Watco Danish Oil.   Jim has dry sanded the pieces to 220 then switched to wet sanding with diamond pads to 800.  Paste wax was used for the final coat. This project took approximately a year and a half to complete. The camera does work and has been tested.

Here are pictures of Jim's 2nd completed hand built Walnut Camera. This camera was completed over the course of approximately 10.5 months. It measures 11 x 14 and is also constructed of Walnut.
