KenCraft Company Corn Stoves
Golden Grain Corn Stove (Model #1101)

If you want to save some money in the winter, switch to a Golden Grain Corn Stove!  Simply add whole kernel corn, wheat, barley and/or wood pellets for fuel and you’re on your way to a heated home.  Thousands of Golden Grain Corn Stove owners over the past few years have averaged only one bushel of corn per day to heat their homes. The dimensions of the Golden Grain Corn Stove are as follows:

  • 25" wide x 25" deep x 32" tall
  • Hopper capacity = 58 lbs.
  • A minimum clearance of 5" is needed from side to wall and 2" from back to wall
  • Weight = 258 lbs.
  • Room blower moves 265 cfm
  • Exhaust blower moves 216 cfm
  • Air intake pipe outside diameter = 2 inches
  • Flue size = 3 inches Type L or PL vent pipe
  • BTU Input Range (Corn) = 14,000 to 40,000
  • Feed Rate = 1.5 lbs/hr low to 4.4 lbs/hr maximum
  • Power required = 120 volts, 400 watts or 3 amps

The Golden Grain Corn Stove is equipped with an automatic shut down cycle.  The shut down cycle is initiated if the fire should go out or if the stove overheats.  This model has a positive exhaust system allowing it to be vented horizontally through an outside wall.  A large circulating blower to maximize heat output turns on automatically only when there is heated air to circulate.
The auger feed system is designed to allow cob pieces and spikes up to 1" in size to pass through without jamming.  This corn stove has a built-in wiper and clean-out, which make it easy to maintain high efficiency for years of quality service.

The operation of this corn stove is very simple, too.  Just light one hand full of wood pellets in the fire box, latch the door, and turn the selector know to one of five settings.

Maintenance is easy as well.  You only need 3 to 5 minutes per day for general up-keep.  The hopper is filled daily, remove the clinker every 24 to 48 hours, and draw wiper rod in and out two or three times.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding The Golden Grain Corn Stove.  Due to high demand, place your order early so that you may start your savings as soon as winter kicks into full gear!
